Communication

Create property development and investment opportunities in the form of “real world” land and property projects.

Communication and being able to articulate your message both with your mouth and with your writing has been something that has really helped me in this program. In LDEV 687 I remember we had to read a book called “Creating and Growing Real Estate Wealth: The 4 Stages to a Lifetime of Success” and then give a summary about the book, being able to articulate what you read effectively and without simply repeating the book was difficult especially when the concepts are so new.

I am obviously not one of the loudest people you’ll ever meet, but since coming to A&M and finishing my degrees I feel much more confident to speak, especially now in my career. I also work in data analytics so being able to share data in an easy-to-understand format has been really cooled to transform incredibly raw and complicated data into something that everyone at the company can understand. Being able to communicate effectively is something that this program has taught me, and I can’t wait to continue to grow and improve at it throughout my career and life.
