Design is an important aspect of the land development process. Being able to take your ideas and make it into something that will become your finished project someday is very exciting. Being able to visualize an empty plot of land and turning it into something great or being able to visualize a change of an existing development that could be so much more than what it is. Many of our classes required creativity to envision what our development would be like on a given site. While sometimes I and many of my team members dreamed too big, being able to come up with a plan and design that is yours is very rewarding.

Weather it was creating something by hand on the “back of an envelope” or doing multiple designs in CAD to being just right, designing is the important transition from idea, into something that will one day be a great development.
