I would say that knowledge integration was the definition of our capstone Class LDEV 688. Everything we had learned in our previous classes, due diligence, market analysis, site analysis, financial analysis through discounted cash flow, design and planning, were all culminated into one project. Now applying the things I have learned in the program into my career has been an awesome experience, to see all the classes and anxiety before exams was worth it. Applying what I have learned here is the definition of knowledge integration and being able to work in a team on a big project was one of the best experiences I had in the program. Below you will find My team and I’s final project for our capstone. We proposed a re-development into a mixed used property at the sight of the famous Astroworld hotel on Kirby and 610 in Houston, being able to be creative and apply everything we had learned to this project was a fitting conclusion to an amazing program.
